A single point of entry to NOTEbookS called the Home page is available from NOTES or from the Web.  From
this portal, NOTEbookS users can browse any of the NOTEbookS catalogs or other resources including: executable files; other Notes databases or other Web sites.

Searches can be performed against one or all of the NOTEbookS catalogs using either field or full-text searches. Other non-NOTEbookS Notes databases can also be configured for full-text searching from the Home Page.  The search results are returned with document links to quickly locate items identified by the search.

Browsing of the NOTEbookS Online Catalog from the Web Home Page portal produces the Catalog main view.  From this main view the user can perform field or full text searches of the Catalog database or select views to browse.  Library staff users can also "Login to Circulation" to perform circulation functions from the Web.

Once browsing by the title view, navigation to individual items is enabled by an alphabetic navigation bar.  If a specific catalog item is sought, the user can click on the "Click here to search by Title" to quickly display the item at the top of the display,
